The CMS team needs a way to flag and alert the ROC of units recommended to be de-rated or shutdown. At this point in time we rely on pac case dispositions and an email to the ROC team to accomplish this but there is no good method of checks and balances to ensure this task gets completed and the operational recommendation continues to be followed. There is also the case where we recommend a de-rate or shutdown but cannot disposition the pac case for MCE or repair until feedback is provided so it sits in awaiting submitter. In these cases the only way to track the operation recommendation is by email or notes within the pac case which can be inconsistent or confusing. I see this as being a feature that more than just the CMS team would utilize as we aren't the only team that will de-rate or shutdown a unit.
