A CMS Escalation requires an email notification to be sent to the field, a lifespan case/task entered and a pac case generated/dispositioned. This is not a lean process and results in duplicating information in various systems. The request here is that we fill in the necessary information into a lifespan case and generate a task. When a task is generated we need to option to generate and email notification and open up a pac case with the relevant case information and task details.

Business Value (GED)
This will significantly reduce the time required to complete a CMS escalation. Updating all of the relevant information in a Lifespan case and assigning task takes up to ~5 minutes. To generate an email notification and generate a pac case takes ~20 minutes to complete. |
